Volume 4 is another Rock project. It is a new band to Raw-Tracks. This volume might be considered a little more "raw" than previous releases. No compression was used during the tracking session. Minor EQ was used on some of the tracks.
These tracks can be imported into your DAW. You can mix these tracks any way that you like. You can then upload your final mix, or mix in progress so that others may comment and give suggestions. When you purchase the tracks, be sure to log onto the Raw-Tracks.com Forum and share comments and ideas with others.
The instrumentation on the recording is your typical rock band: Drums, Bass, Electric Guitars, and vocals. The tracks were recorded to 2" tape at the legendary Smart Studios, through their Trident A-Range console. At the end of the session, the 2" tape was transferred into Pro-Tools, sampled at 24 bit, 44.1kHz. This is the first Raw-Tracks release that is available in 24bit Resolution, either on CD-ROM or as a download. Since the 24bit download is 522mb, the tracks are also available for download in 16bit and MP3 formats.
